Welcome to the STNY DMR Net

The primary purpose of the ‘STNY DMR Net’ is to help foster an active DMR community in the Southern Tier of New York and to provide a forum for those that are interested or have questions regarding various DMR topics. While this net is primarily for the Southern Tier, all stations are more than welcome to check in.

This net meets weekly on Saturdays at 7pm EST on Brandmeister Talkgroup 31367 (Southern Tier) and Wires-X Room 83721 (Room Name: STNY). This net is also simultaneously broadcasted to a Zoom Meeting. Those that are having difficulties getting on DMR, please join the Zoom meeting. After the net, the discussion moves over to Zoom for a ragchew or to ask questions.

This net utilizes Net Logger which can be downloaded at netlogger.org. However, Net Logger is not required and we will take additional voice checkins.

Yaesu Users: We are now bridging with Wires-X Room 83721 (Room Name: STNY) for this net! If you have the capabilities to do PDN (Portable Digital Node) or you are a repeater owner, please join us on Saturdays for the net. PDN is available on Yaesu FT-2DR/FT-3DR/FT-5DR HTs or mobile rigs FTM-100, FTM-300 and FTM-400. See Wires-X PDN Function Manual. For other Yaesu digital radios, please use YSF2DMR capabilities on pi-star. If you are having difficulties connecting, please join our Zoom meeting and we’ll help you get connected!

For more information or to ask questions, please join our STNY Net space on Seven3.
